2025 Wrap Up

September marked the 23rd Annual Discovery on Target (DOT), showcasing the latest in novel drug targets, emerging drug modalities and innovative technologies. Over the years DOT has turned into a meeting place for the very latest in early drug discovery, bringing together scientists from academia, start-ups, biotechs, pharma and investing companies. With nearly 1000 attendees, 220+ presentations, 115+ research posters and ~90 exhibitors, DOT covered everything,

• From small molecules and ADCs to emerging drug modalities such as, chimeras, conjugates, multispecifics, and synthetic biology
• From proven targets like GPCRs and kinases to new targets like GLP-1, RNA, DNA, transcription factors
• From 3D models & organoids and biophysical tools to proteomics and AI/ML-enabled drug discovery

The numerous networking events, short courses, poster sessions, panels and breakout discussions at DOT provided added opportunities for deeper engagement and collaboration.

We are grateful to all the speakers who shared cutting-research, case studies and even unpublished findings—your contributions were invaluable to the community and set the tone for scientific innovation. We greatly appreciate the support of our sponsors and exhibitors for sharing information about new tools, assays and platforms and driving partnerships to accelerate drug discovery. And a big thank you to all the attendees and poster presenters for your active participation in presenting, questioning, networking, learning, and exploring. You made this year’s event a true gathering of minds and ideas!
